Speciality Dentistry

About Specialty Dentistry:
Our Specialty Dentistry in Chatswood services focus on advanced dental care tailored to your specific needs, including treatments for sleep issues, jaw protection, and tooth replacement.
Sleep Apnoea and Anti-Snoring Devices
Oral appliances are an effective option for treating mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea and reducing snoring. Worn at night like a mouthguard, these devices gently push the lower jaw forward, opening the airways to reduce throat obstruction and vibration during sleep.
Occlusal Splint (Night Guard)
An occlusal splint is a horseshoe-shaped device worn over the teeth to protect against damage from teeth grinding and clenching. It can also relieve jaw joint pain caused by nighttime grinding, helping maintain long-term oral health.
Dental Implants
For permanent tooth replacement, dental implants are a reliable alternative to removable dentures. A titanium post is securely placed in the jaw, acting like a natural tooth root, and a custom crown is then attached by screwing or cementing onto the implant. Implants are ideal when you want to preserve surrounding natural teeth and maintain a healthy bite.
At our Chatswood dental clinic, we provide expert guidance and personalised care for all specialty dental treatments to ensure optimal results and long-term oral health.

General FAQs
Non-professional teeth whitening services aren’t regulated.
Our trained professional dentists and hygienists are permitted to use products with higher concentrations of hydrogen peroxide.
Teeth whitening at the dentist usually works much professional than Non-professional teeth whitening. In addition to the stronger peroxide solution that’s used in dental offices, heat or light or both can be used to speed up and intensify the whitening effects of professional treatment.
The actual whitening process involves the dentist applying a professional-grade gel to your front teeth. This gel is designed to penetrate the porous outer layer of your teeth and break apart stain compounds using a chemical reaction called oxidation.

Electric toothbrushes clean teeth and gums much better than a manual toothbrush. Scientists found that people who use an electric toothbrush have healthier gums, less tooth decay and also keep their teeth for longer, compared with those who use a manual toothbrush.
